Delaware Modern Quilt Guild
Delaware Modern Quilt Guild “DEMQG” is a non-profit organization started in 2012 by a group of quilters in Lewes, Delaware. We are a member chapter of the Modern Quilt Guild whose mission is to support and encourage growth and development of modern quilting through art, education, and community.
What We Do
At the Delaware Modern Quilt Guild, we come together to create, learn, and share our love of quilting in all its modern forms. Our members inspire one another through hands-on sewing days, creative challenges, classes, and lectures that stretch our skills and spark new ideas. We celebrate every member’s voice through show-and-tell sessions, where works in progress and finished quilts alike are met with encouragement and applause.
Our guild also enjoys connecting with other quilting groups across the region to exchange ideas, collaborate on projects, and grow as a creative community. Whether you’re new to quilting or a seasoned maker, you’ll find a welcoming space to explore your creativity, refine your techniques, and discover new ways to tell your story in fabric and thread.
